Default Limit on frogs as looked up by buddy today is 18, 36 POS.

Geagle had posted like 15 on another post but after my buddy looked it up it's 18 and no I can't choot em with the pellet rifle or 22 shorts as planned, lol. Gigging, netting, or hand catching seems to be only legal ways to catch bullfrogs these days.

Firearms only legal on permitted fish farms. I believe you can use bow and arrow if it has not changed. We used to catch them on poles with red rags or lures on hooks.

Yep, think we've got ourselves a trip planned up already on Dequeen lake. Dequeen lake used to have some pretty good weed beds around the islands but past few years they, the weeds haven't been a pronounced. Not sure if they've tried to kill them out or what but they did offer fish cover, frog cover, and yes water moccasin cover too. I'd think a long butter fly type net would do the trick.

If you like to shoot 'em with a .22, you are in the just in the wrong state. Try Missouri. With a hunting license you can shoot them with a .22 but can't gig 'em. With a fishing license, you can gig 'em but can't shoot 'em.

It's only illegal if you don't get caught.
