    Default Lock up your boats!

It's that time of year again.... Thieves are out looking to steal your fishing stuff cause it'll sell.

Last weekend I got up around 4am to go turkey hunting... Walked out into my garage and there stood a fella digging through my boat... He had gotten into my truck, used the garage door opener and was having his way with my boat. He took of running and dropped everything he had in his hands. He's lucky I didn't have my gun loaded or he would have been toast. In the moment I decided he wasn't worth getting shot/stabbed over so I let him run off.

I'm just glad I got up and he didn't run off with my Fourwheeler. He had my rods and tackle box in his hands when I walked out. So everyone make sure your stuff is locked up good!

I had my tackle boxes stolen a few years ago. Thats a bad feeling when you walk out and everything gone. Sure makes you have bad feelings about some people and what you would like to do. Glad you kept your cool and didn't do the things you would have liked to do. But........ if that gun had been loaded!

My gun stays loaded. If they get caught in my shop , be lucky if they get to explain anything.

Don't get me wrong, I never want to have to shoot anyone... But as far as I'm concerned that guy was IN my house, and it's not a good feeling when a strange person who shouldn't be in your house is there... I had no idea what his intentions were and there was no way he would be going any further with my wife sleeping in our bedroom.

I just had both my batteries stolen and didn't realize it until I had already pushed off the bank and tried to start my boat. Sure glad they didn't get my paddle. Lol but seriously, people like that need to be caught and punished!!! My guns always loaded too but my tackle box and all my fishing gear is not worth somebody else's life. My grandpa always told me if someone steals something they probably need it worse than you. But on the other hand if they are in my house and try to come into my sanctuary god better help them because I'm well loaded and prepared for the worst, I'm a proud sponsor of the NRA and firmly believe in my 2nd amendment!!

Nothing makes me madder than a thief!

A thief invading the sanctity of my home would absolutely infuriate me.

I hate that it happened to you.
