    Default Doubled up!!

Got to take my dad turkey hunting today and boy was it an adventure. The morning started with no birds to be heard anywhere , we were just about to load up and head back home when I thought I heard a faint gobble in the distance, sure enough minutes later another confirmed gobble, so we set out for about a 2 mile hike to reach the birds. After getting close and locating the birds we set up and in short order they where coming hard , just as the birds seemed to be committed here came mister coyote , the birds putted a flew and we just knew the hunt was over. Minutes after the coyote left I called a got an immediate response and here they come again only to have a deer slip in behind us and start blowing and snorting sending the gobblers off and running again, thinking to ourselves this just isn't going to happen we picked up and moved into a different position , called and sure enough we got a response, 5 minutes later we had 2 nice birds on the ground dads bird had a 7 inch beard and 2 other beards that were about 3 " each and the one I got had a 6 1/2 " with 2 other beards as well, here are the pics , great morning with my hunting and fishing mentor!!Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367182926.799564.jpg

That's good stuff! Great you both got turkeys and really great it was with your dad!
I had a similar hunt but mine ended up with a blue tick sending my birds into the next county!
