I took the kiddos today and boy did we have a large time. The strippers (lol) and white bass kept us very busy between the crappie. We ended the day with 10 fat females but got to look at easily twice that many. I was coaching today and trust me a 12 year old girl and a 13 year old boy have a big learning curve using a 16 ft Ozark rod in 20 feet of water but when they figured it out and that rod tip moved they were snatchin like a pro. We had 2 white bass, 1 stripper and 2 crappie on at one time and boy you haven't lived till you do that with 2 kids on 8 rods. Best day on the water in a very long time.![]()

Glad ya'll had a good day. I love seeing those kids smile!!!!!
Took wife and 11yr old Daughter yesterday to Dardenelle caught em deep also, today they started back to the bank this morning they were deep but got shallow as the day/sun got warmer. All females had eggs, That lake is unbelievable!!!! Love it!
I'm not sure if your trip today was more of a testament to your fishing ability or your patience. Either way those kids are lucky to have a good dad! Congrats on the catch but more importantly congrats on the memories made with family!
Good Deal!!! I love seeing kids that enjoy spending time outdoors!! I know that several are wrapped up in video games and whatknot and thats fine! Not saying it isn't, I'm just saying it is good to see that some still enjoy the same ole stuff that many of us always have and will!!
