    Default Dardanelle Storms

This was my first time on the lake and oh what a first time it was. The day started off warm and then rain and hail and north winds, but most important Crappie. We caught them in 15 - 25 foot of water on minnow riggs. We ended the day cold and wet with 24 fat females full of eggs. Thanks CP and Dennis.

Good job it sounds like you guys had a great time(except for the storm). Did you fish any shallow water or catch some females that were already spawned out. Again, congratulations on your catch.

The shallowest we fished was 12 feet and all 24 of them had eggs bloody eggs. You gotta figure the males are getting the beds ready somewhere water was 62. I assume these fish are gonna spawn in deeper water because the closest bank is a drop off to 25 feet and the next bank is a quarter mile with a big 12 foot flat. Any thoughts?
