Yep. Access has actually been improved the last time I fished it. Still leave money in the box.

Does anybody know if Horners Bay is still accessible?
Back in the day, I used to fish it with my Father-In-Law. Back then we used to cross private property to get to the lake and had to leave a few dollars in a mailbox.
It's probably been 10 years since I was over there. I believe I could still drive right back to the same spot, but I would hate to drive over there, only to discover that the old road has been blocked or that access, across the private property, has been restricted.
Is anybody fishing over there this year?

Haven't been there lately, but Shirey, and Portia both look pretty good, I wouldn't be scared to go.
the BR is falling quick and my experience on these bays is that they clean up nice unless we are getting storms. Since we haven't had rain in several days my guess is by tomorrow or Sat. all of the BR bays will be plenty clear to fish. They may be higher still but if they aren't falling or rising too much I usually do ok. Some of the other guys in this area may have a more intelligent report though.
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...
Sorry to tell ya'll this but its off limits now, sign has been taken down and money box removed. Some guys started a fishing club and tired running everbody off until they learned a farmer own all the lake but 3a..The farmer builit another boat ramp on the east side for his employees and the people he knows.
That sucks!
The farmer that owns most of the lake and builit the other ramp is a great guy.Fair and honest and expects you to be the same way.His employees are the same way and if you could corner one of them and ask your actions could get a nod.
I might have to look into that. It's been a few years since I fished there but we used to catch some humdingers out of there!
