I planned on going to a family farm pond in NE AR,(no one fishes it but me) to catch some big bream this weekend(maybe just Sunday) it's been a little cooler 53 today and rainy. It's supposed to get up to 63 tomorrow With possible showers. Sunday high Is low 70's.. Just wondering has anyone been catching any in the surrounding area, and if you guys think I should even go considering the weather conditions? I usually fish with a cricket under a floater.
Any tips and comments are welcome!
(Ps. This is my first post so take it easy on me guys!)

I'm from SouthEast missouri actually! I'm going to Rector AR, to fish. Is this the right place to ask or would I be better off to ask in the AR forum?
You said you caught em crappie fishin, you think it's still to early for the crickets under floaters?
I wouldn't think so. I've seen people fishing for them at lake Hogue, and catching some. Actually i think if i would have had smaller hooks i would have caught more. Had a lot of bites that felt like bream.![]()
If you can go fishing go..
IF You like useing live bait take a box of red worms with you just in case they aren't eating bugs. You may have to take the float off and fish on bottom depending on the weather.I've seen signs that their getting ready to spawn on some of the lakes.Fighting and chaseing each other in deep open and swallow water and they are not paying attention to plastic baits.I have caught a few on plastic but think red worms eould be like chocit cake to them right now.
