Illinois needs help with info on Crown Lake/Hot Springs Area (Balboa Lake)

Hello from the north!!

Wife thinks the lakes is your area are "pretty" and wants to take vacation there......If I say yes...What can I expect for fishing. Want to chase some crappies or gills. Looking at going in July!! HOT. Thoughts

Theirs a couple local guieds that could put you on the fish. I fish all the lakes around that area and your wife is right they are pretty especially Lake Ouachita its big and has super clear water that you can see along ways down. Going in July the fish are going to be deep due to hot water temps but you'll still beable to catch'em. If ya'll decide to come down here holler at me and I'll tell ya everything that I know about what the fish are doing around here. I'm actually headed their Monday morning with a buddy of mine to try and catch a mess of fish.
