Default old town/ east moon 4/6/13

Started out on old town yo-yoing for catfish since it is almost a sure thing. Not today. Caught 2 and talked to a few anglers. General concensus was they are slow. Left at 10:30 for east moon. Fished all the places where water drained under the road. No luck. Only one white bass where the low water bridge crossed scrub grass. East moon was dingy and folks leaving reported it being slow. Went to mellwood old river. Manager said it was slow and the water is still too cold. Only good report was that he is renting the cabins once more. Good to know for later when they start.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

I hate to hear that but like Tony, I am glad to hear about the cabins. I will take a week and fish over there as well as the Maddox Bay lakes in early May.
