Lol. I've been frogging a time or two. Matter of fact I'm going Friday and Saturday nights.
All total, I normally spend 30 to 40 nights a year froggin. There's nothing better to beat the heat.
I prefer grabbing with hands but will use a spring gaff. Gig is my last choice. I also like to catch the bigger frogs as I whole clean my frogs.
I'll have to dig up a picture or two
We go 4-5 nights a year and try to catch enough for a few frys. We also use our hands to catch em. Good way to spend some hot nights
Well I was just thinking about chasing some frogs this year myself, I love em! I wouldn't know the 1st thing about it though. I know Dequeen lake usually has a lot of grass around it in the early Summer and I'd like to give em a try some night. I've already been conjuring up ways to cook them tasty lil devils.
I've chased a few back in the day. It's always fun to see what they've been eating. I've found crawfish, turtles, snakes, and the most odd thing was a baby mink, inside of them. They are sure tasty.
now that a lot of catfish places have frog legs on the buffet and it gets real hard to find them in the wild (after about 20 april) i leave them alone...now days it is rare to hear them at night...and when i hear them its is only for a few days, then they are gone...
BILLY E that just might be against the law just a little. I love to frog and will probably go ever night I can this summer. Im18 and you guys are a little older so yal don't have the motor like I got in me to go after them.
