Strange anomally on the bottom

Ok sonar gurus. This one is easy. What is it?

I would guess that the wavy line id due to the boat rocking on the waves. I however am not a sonar guru.

I've seen that same pattern on a backwater of the river where there is an island just upstream from where Fouche comes in . On the backside (side away from current) The bottom there shows that same rippled edge.

I ve also seen that in rough water when the boat is rocking side to side

Ok, since ya'll are so smart. How big was the motor on the boat that passed us

I have seen the same rippled bottom in the St Francis river as well, but this was a boat passing us in the lake. Good job on interpreting.

Please also note THERE WERE NO FISH WHERE WE WERE.
