    Default Hybrid @ Greeson today

I stopped by Lake Greeson to wet a lline on my way home after working in Hot Springs all week. Stopped at the west end where the lake/river crosses Hwy 70. Threw a yellow beetle spin type lure on light spinning tackle, from the bank. First cast a nice hybrid nailed it gave me a good fight, I'd guess it weighed 3 1/2 - 4 pounds. I cast and cast for about a half hour before I caught another fish, this one was a dink white bass, maybe a pound.

I decided to pack up and get on home.

Sometimes I've found catching a good one on the first cast not always a good sign. Atleast you got out and tried it. Xring and I fished yesterday morning here and it was slow and wet.
