    Default Tip of the day

Pay attention to water temps. Sometimes the wind blown side can be colder than the lee side. A few degrees in water temp can improve or slow a bite down. Also in the late afternoons the bite can pick up as the water temps rise. Not uncommon for the big ol sows to move shallow in the afternoons as the day had warmed the shallow water. Also, murky or stained water warms faster than clear water and running water streams (i.e arkansas river) are generally lower in water temp than your lakes.

Remember with a cold snap and fish pulling out , check first drop off . Some will suspend there and if it's really strong cold front check first structure out deeper right close to the bottom.
