Have to be in Star City Friday and Saturday nights. I am going to fish Cane Creek Saturday morning for bass with girl friends son in law.....what's my best bet Sunday to catch some crappie with the girl friend Sunday morning....cane creek, Monticello, PB harbor.....any ideas would be appreciated

Nimrod is right about cane creek. I fish it some in the fall but thats about the only time. Last time I tried Monticello it was real clear, that makes it tough with a jig pole. So I would have to say Pine Bluff harbor would be best choice.
Day after the front!!! That's going to be tough!! Dynamite is probably your best bet!!!!! Cane creek is known for some really slab crappie, however it can be brutal to get them to cooperate. Good luck, let me emphasize that GOOD LUCK!!!

Cane Creek has to be fished on a cloudy day or the rain. The clear days will kill ya foe some reason. Go on the big fish stick on the front page and see some of the slabs out of there. I think it was posted by LA Stumpjumper

The crappie have not been cooperating here lately but I think they have caught a few bass. And yes there has been some nice slabs brought out.
