    Default Back to the flatlands...

Went back home to east Arkansas this weekend to visit my parents and me and the old man snuck away to the borrow pits up around Marked Tree. We were able to pull out 24 before the wind just blew us off the water. Caught em on the edges of the tree tops in about 6-8 fow with black/chart. under a slip cork at 3.5-4 ft deep.

That's back to good fishing right there. I've got a couple of places I fish where it's a boat paddle and a 12 foot boat. The fish are never more than 3 feet deep.
Congrats on some fish and a great day fishing with your dad!
