Last night it got really chilly about 9:00-10:00 p.m. -- I had live minnows and a using a red/white jig caught over 40 crappie in less than 3 hrs. REALLY GOOD fishing on Beaver last night, should be about the same tonight, if you get the chance, hit the bluffs just North of War Eagle marina, and fish around docks just north of point 12, not the White River, but actual War Eagle for those who know the area.....using live minnow, 1/8 oz. splitshot, and bobber stopper, adjusting depth until I found the fish, biggest slab was caught at 3 ft deep, 75% were caught at about 8-10 ft. deep in 12-14 foot of water....

(also caught one kentucky bass weighing in at 3 lb 1 oz -- and another at 2 lb 2oz) , both on live minnow, ultralite, with 6 lb test =)
