Well from what I've been told it's kinda like a White Oak or something but not sure how big it is? I've fished Columbia and White Oak but never fished Erling. I worked with a couple guys from Spring Hill that said give em a call when the job was over and they'd meet me down there but I don't even know where the ramps are much less how to navigate on the lake.
i have fished with no slab on erling he a great guy and fisherman knows the lake like the back of his hand !!!! if you like your boat and motor i would suggest you only idle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or you will need a new boat and motor!!!!!!!!!! PS. IT' WORSE THAN CONWAY WITH STUMPS..... but it is a great crappie lake .

Well never been on Conway but Atkins, White Oak, Columbia, Harris Brake....those have a plethora of stumps! Not real sure what a plethora is but it's a bunch, lol. Atkins seemed to have NO boat lanes, Harris had em but rusty rebar marked the edges so that wasn't any good, and between White Oak and Columbia the lanes are about 2 dozier passes wide and that's it. I may try Millwood for now and put the 2+hr Erling trip off for a while.
I will agree with the stumps, its lake conway on steriods and the best part about erling is running jugs during the summer time. talk about some big flats![]()
