Default Joys of having a boat

Yesterday I decided to check and repack the bearings on may trailer, turned out I had one bad bearing and one showing signs of failure. I replaced them all and checked over everything else. When I got to the ramp this morning my outboard wouldnt start now its at H2O sports waiting to be checked.

Sorry you had trouble but your lucky you checked bearings on the trailer before it was too late. Hope it is smooth sailing after this.

Well........my boat was new in 2006...........and it's already had a new axle totally, and one entire bearing. Some guy waved us down on I-40, and my wheel was ON FIRE!!! As in "flames".....

I carry a spare hub now.........

I can't really complain I guess, my motor is 5 years old to me and I never had a single problem out of it. My boat is almost 30 years old, my grand dad got it as a retirement gift and I spent many days with him and my dad fishing out of it, so to finally have some bearings crap out isn;t that bad.
