Big Thanks to Midsouth Man and Walker733 for helping me install my new Cumberland Crappie Mount and Hummingbird unit also to Walker733 for allowing me to use and store my boat in his shop for the install. You guys are great and I want you to know I really appreciate your help.

I recently got ahold of MidSouth Man to inquire about a raised all aluminum depth finder mount to install my new HB 998 on. I told Dennis what I needed and he contacted Cumberland Crappie and designed a mount 18 inches high, adjutable right and left, also up and down. I would like to say in dealing with Cumberland Crappie they made my mount just how I wanted it and made me feel completely comfortable about the deal and simply stated if we dont get it how you want it... then just send it back and will give you your money back... no hard feelings. Thats service folks... Well when I saw Midsouth Man at Walker733's shop and I saw the mount I was as happy as a skunk in a litterbox...LOL as it was just what I wanted and needed. Solid as a rock...adjustable ...electronics at my finger tips, no more reaching... looking down and the screen so close it was like having an 1198...a welcome ease on the Ole Pro's eyes. We decided to mount it just off and a little forward of my right seat, but yet close enough to the dash of my boat to where I can monitor it from the dash or up front and still easily keep an eye on my poles, giving me the best of both worlds. Man I feel like I just got a brand new computer in my office within easy reach. If your in the market for a new raised mount Give MidSouth Man a shout,,,I'll bet he can get you just what you need made also at a darn good price. Glad I could help out Russ and I am a little jealous of the rig we installed for you, lol. Everything worked out great and I am sure you will like your new setup. I will admit it, it was an honor to drill holes in the "dark angel" ....bwahahahaha!

Hard to be Cumberlandcrappie product and service. I have a 18" for a 100-700 base mount if anyone would be interested shoot me a pm. I had him make it for me but decided not to use it.
