Best eating fish there is. I visited family in Washington state back in 01'. My wife's uncle took me on the Snake for some Walleye fishing. I hooked a 9 pounder, only fish we caught that day. He was pretty pizzed about it, said he fished there all the time and had never caught one that big. Didn't talk to me again til we left! Sure was good though!

More walleye down river past dam 3 than whats up past dam 3,they cann't get passed dam 3..
More deeper holes down from dam3 all the way to black river, hope you have cloudly skies b/c marble eyes cann't stand bright sunny days.Bright days fish on bottom in deep holes.....walleye eat trout.
If you catch a sucker(fish) cut up in small peices and tip your jig....

Sorta like Duck , if you put enough stuff on it to cover the taste they are almost palatable.

That's the only boat ramp I know of besides down at Ravenden. By looking at google maps, none of them look like you can get very far up or down river before it gets shallow.

One at Hardy one at south fork....a few on posted land..
We have a jet boat for shallow water and getting over the shoals.
Spring river, south fork, black river, white river, current river even caught a few out of strawberry river.
They have to come up from white river to black river to spring river to eleven point and current river.
If your lucky and fishing in the right spot on the right day Jackson port is the place to be and and and....
Its easier to just chase crappie when they are in lockjaw as to chase marble eyes b/c it takes alittle more work to catch them.A jig and minnow is good but I pull crankbaits in all the above rivers yeah it hurts then I lose a crankbait to a log. You'd be fooled how far you can pull a crankbait in those rivers without any hang ups.....
