    Default Pine Bluff Harbor

Anyone got any tips on fishing at PB Harbor? I don't remember any reports from there, looks like a good place. I may try it in the morning if the wind is not to bad..

Being from PB, and it is a good place to be from, I spent a lot of time on slack water harbor...except for white bass or catfish it is a tricky place to fish...especially this time of year...but if you gotta go, first I would fish deep, minners around 18 feet...start where black dog slew runs into slack water...with a fish finder you can scout out from black dog and find some structure...land at the park and hang a right...where the right bank and the bank in front of you intersect is the entrance to black dog...pretty good run when it is cold...also this info guarantees nothing...leave your brass monkey at home...

when I said land at the park, I am talking about the swim beach not the corp of engineers park...if I landed at the corps park I would go straight across slack water and start fishing there...

I made it to the harbor about 11:00 today, left about 2:00. I never did wet a hook , just rode and play with new electronics. I did find some promising brush piles , they didn't look to be holding fish. After lunch several more boats showed up to crappie fish, talked to two of them they hadn't caught any either. Thanks for the help, I'll have a better idea where to fish next time. I did have one jump in the boat.
