Thunder storms followed buy a rainbow

Got to the lake this afternoon and suited up in full rain gear just in time for the down pour and thunder boomer, thinking I must be insane to heading out in this mess I went anyway , the harder the wind blew and the harder it rained it never bothered the fish ,they seemed to love it, fished through the rain and wind only to have a rainbow light up the sky as the storm moved past , the fish were very aggressive right up until I headed to the house with one of the best limits so far this year

It was extremely windy out there this afternoon nimrod , had to run trolling motor at full tilt boogy just to hold my position along the cover for about an hour

Crappie love nasty weather, they feed aggressively, the nastier the weather the better they bite. I prefer to fish in nasty weather, thunder storms, snow storms, Ice/sleet, and extreme cold. Nice catch.
