NWA Crappie Camp...

Is there such a thing up here in NWA? I have talked with several others from all over Arkansas and Oklahoma, and they say October is the big month normally...could anyone give me any information on this? Would greatly appreciate it.

There is not such a thing here in NWA but they do it down in Hot Springs.
If someone had the time to get one toghether that didn't run with the Hot Springs camp I bet it would work here as well! Fishing is great for all species in October and Beaver is probably one of the most scenic lakes in the state.
If I wasn't working two jobs I would most definatly try to get somthing going.
I would be willing to help though.

I hear that, in talking with Darryl Morris I might just head down to Hot Springs this coming October, you should go Jason? We could carpool if you could get the time off? I know that's not likely with the October fishing the way it is...but if so we should. I want to go to my first Crappie camp down there and get some ideas put together, I know the perfect people to sponsor something really nice for a camp up here, and I have a good "IN" with the hickory creek staff, lived right by there for 5 years....might try and get something going! I'll let you know if any help is needed, I'm sure there could never be enough. =) Thanks

I'd love to Jerry, believe me you! It's hard for me to get weekends in October and November off working for Wal-mart distribution center. That is our busy time of year... Christmas!
I'll also be booked solid through October. I'd love to come down and hook up with you on a trip sometime, It will probably be the "off season". My invitation still go's out to you if your ever up this way as well!!

I'll have some open dates in September if you can get down here. We're planning on putting in a ton of bamboo condos on the days we don't have paying trips but we fish for fun when the work is done!

Let me see what I can do. My two daughters are both in school now and I am here for them when they get home every day. My Wife works until 6 each day. If I can get some help with that I'll come down. I wouldn't mind helping with the Bamboo as well! Sounds interesting!
