The bite was fast and short but oh how fun it was. I caught 14 with the biggest being 13 inches all good eaters. The afternoon bite was slow in the brush but man the late bite was hot and shallow and I mean shallow with some being in a foot of water. They hit a 1/32 head with basically any bright colored jig and a silver flake nibble. Sorry no pics I gave the fish to my fishing buddy for the day and it was dark and cold.

The Silver Flake Nibble is my absolute Favorite of all the nibble colors. Good Job

I love how it dissolves the others don't seem to do that or at least from my experience. I was talking to BlackFish this morning about the nibbles being the difference in the bite and he ask if I was injecting them in the tube or tipping them so here's my tip. I put my nibbles on the hook tip and find when fishing with my friends who refuse to use them that they stay hung up on the grass brush weeds etc a noticeable more amount of time.

Hell, I've ran from the spillway to Goldcreek in the dark. Quite often... It's a nice summertime boat ride with the wife!

Worst time is right at dusk. It is hard to see them markers right before dark and them stumps pop up outta nowhere!

There no bumps when your in the path and I trimmed one of them stumps last week that jump out in the way.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
