When its good, its GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! I cannot emphasize this enough, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

But hittinig it is hard some years. Yo-yo fishermen hit it HARD and often. It is a stump filled lake, muddy at times, but never clear. I have been there and not caught a fish UNDER 2 lb. But I have also been and not caught a fish.

GO, have fun, fish hard, and good luck.

I always had my best luck from now till end of March...shiners on slip cork...may be in stumps or in boat channels...I would use at least 10 lb test...like the man said...when its good it is goooooooooooood!!!!

It can be good but unless you live close, the daily fee can be pricey. If you must buy gas to travel there and pay the fee then it really hurts if fishing is off.

One of my favorite lakes! But as nimrod said, it can be expensive! But when's it's good, there is not a better lake in Arkansas to catch monster slabs!

The interest rates on the loans it takes to fish there will hurt a man!
