Wind was blowing 17-20mph and it was all I could do to hold the boat today. Ended up with 12 nice ones and only fished from 9-12pm. Just could not take the wind any longer.
Did notice that the water temp has jumped to 40 degrees. It has been in mid to upper 30's for the last 2-3 weeks. It will be interesting to see if the fish come out of those 30ft depths with this warm water coming in.

I have found that lower Beaver (between War Eagle and 412) has some very nice crappie and the water is not as clear as upper Beaver.

Way to go, man! You deserve those fish for enduring that much wind. I'd rather fish in the rain than a strong wind!!!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
