The double Minnow rig landed crappie after crappie on Dardanelle today. The bite was sooo good I dropped from four double minnow rig poles to two. It was one of those days the pole tip's would not rest. As I was baiting one pole the other went down several times. It was crazy and i think I had four doubles on one pole today. The fish were all 9-14 inch fish. Lake Dardanelle is one amzeing lake with Size and Numbers. These fish came out of 35-45 feet deep just off the bottom. A winter pattern where the double minnow rig shines bright. Tight Lines Guys...

I love catching them deep water winter crappie Russ....That's good fishin' and those were some good pics. I've just got to get to Dardanelle before long....time (which is now the most valuable commodity on earth) has just been in too short supply. I was planning on fishing today but wound up spending the whole day at Big Buck Classic with David (Blue Thunder) and three grandchildren and had a blast.
From the ARK-LA-MISS Delta....... Crappie Paradise ! ! ! !
That's a pretty mess of fish. I'm surprised they have so much color to 'em coming out of such deep water. Congrats.
Man those are some nice ones glad you caught them!!!
Congrats Russ
