Night fishing

Finally got to go fishing for the first time in a couple weeks , got off work a little early this afternoon so loaded up and headed to Conway for a little night fishing , fished from 5 until 8 and caught all but 4 fish after it got dark , fished brush piles with single jig in 8-9 fow, it's amazing how these fish can find a jig in the dark but take it from me the can so if you've never fished at night u may give it a try sometime,caught a limit of good fish and culled another dozen or so, feeling that thump in complete darkness is pretty cool!!!!

Yea u should have went , the bite was pretty good compared to the last time I fished and they were aggressive strikes!

Nice haul! I have had several folks tell me that they have been catching them right before and after it gets dark for the past 2 weeks. Looks like its time for a strategy change....

I have done some night time fishing in past the past but with minners. Fishing with a light can be fun too. I had done it at nimrod along the river channels many years ago in the summer time. We would put a lantern on an inner tube and let it float away from the boat and then toss minners to it . By letting the lantern float away from boat and the bugs werent as bad.
