Default Lake Chicot Map or Coords?

I am going to try to hit Chicot in the next few weeks with the bro-in-law from Greenville, MS since it's close to him. Neither of us have fished the lake before and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers (where to launch, depth of the lake) or brushpile coordinates. We'd like to put some crappie in the boat. I have a working depth finder but it ain't good for much else.

If yall don't want to give out that kind of info, if you can steer me towards a Chicot contour map that'd be appreciated. I Googled looking for maps but struck out. I'm not sure if they exist or not.

    Thanks for the help.

This time of year connerly bayou is usually good so I would start there. There is a very good boat ramp in the bayou just off the lake. Most of the lake is 5 to7 foot deep with a little bit deeper water on the south end. Crappie have to be 10 inches. Good luck let us know if you do any good, I was thinking of heading that way in a couple of weeks.

Used to ass fish the lake some.....my thought would be to try the docks on the west the mid lake side....the channel swings in there close and some of the docks will have 8 to 10 ft of water and stake beds or brush.....good luck

Most of the brushpiles are marked with a buoy in Chicot. no problem seeing them.

Here's some more information to think about. The GE shot is the 2 coordinates data bases I run that have chicot listed. In the list, I have edited out duplicates (I hope), and have added a few of my own. Hope this helps and good luck.
