Hello all! Ive been fishing Bass tournaments all over the state (and region) now for 27 years. Ready to SLOW down! Crappie fishing will be new for me. I know the river VERY well from ozark to Dumas and most all of the larger impoundments in Arkansas. Gonna set up the 21 ft triton for spider rigging. Any idea's where I can get a good Side-by-side seating set up?

Pm blacklandlure on the board. He builds one of the best for bass boats.

There is someone on the site that sells dual seat rigs I think. Being a former Bass fisherman, I would have thought you would have been more likely to single pole jigs . Welcome to the Reformed Green Carp Anglers Society. I used to love Bass fishing back in the day , Crappie fishing is more laid back. This is the place to be to find out all about Crappie for sure. Hope to see ya at spring Crappie camp on Dardanelle Lake.

Might have to do dardenelle this spring. I know every inch of it (for green trout) but crappie fishing will be new. I have hundreds of piles gps marked, probably be a good place to start. I think Ill have to leave the Bass gear at the house, might be like a crack addict on that pond if I have my bass gear in the spring! Lol!!

I seldom put anything but one type of tackle in my boat. If I put anything other than my jiggin poles in I might backslide some days. If you know where all them brushpiles are your one step ahead on Crappie fishing. If you try verticle jiggin , you could get addicted to the thump. Hope to see a post on the beginners and mentoring forum after you start fishing with your granddaughter. We have contest for mentoring stories from time to time.
Send MEATGETTER a private message, he sells all kinds of spiderrigigging poles , jigs ,and such. Jerry is a spiderrigger but even single poles at times and would be glad to help you find what you need.
