Help Around El Dorado

I live in North La. and am thinking about trying out some of the waters around El Dorado. Can anyone provide any helpful information about Calion Lake, Champagnolle Creek, etc.? Does that area provide good white perch fishing? Thanks.

Not sure about those but that lake down around Farmington, LA is popular one, Darborne....I know I didn't spell it right but I'm not French either. I'd check into the Ouachita river that far down also.

I fish D'Arbonne and my other area lakes and just wanted to try something new.

If that Ouachita is like Little River and it should be there should be some good opportunities down on it? Course right now that the water is much colder from recent snow the crappie seem to be deeper on brush....From what I seen most of the brush on Little River the other day is shallower, be good once the water temp comes back up.

Haven't fished it but you might want to try Felsenthal.
