Default AgriHawg & CrappiePro Double Limit On Dardenelle - Friday 1/4/13

Met with CrappiePro yesterday morning and followed him to Dardenelle. We launched the Dark Angel, made the cold run to a honey hole and started getting set up. We were catching fish before we could get all our poles out! CrappiePro tied up with a big ole whisker fish almost immediately. Wound up being a nice 6 or 7 pound cat. The fishing was consistent all day with CrappiePro keeping the Dark Angel over productive water. We also caught more Kentucky's than you can shake a stick at. Had to move they were so thick at one point. Towards the end of the day I snatched a rod up to set the hook and CrappiePro thought I was hung on a snag....wound up being another 6 or 7 pound cat.

Fish were biting so good when we left, we caught two nice crappie as we were trying to get our poles out of the water...had to do a little culling. Everyone else seemed to have a tough time of it on Dardenelle, but we managed a good double limit of nice crappie, plus a lot of "bonus" fish. That CrappiePro sure knows what he's doing.

Thanks CrappiePro for taking me fishing and teaching me a few of your tricks! Although at first I was concerned that this was a thinly veiled attempt to get me out on the water and throw me overboard in retaliation for the "elf video"! Hope we get the chance to go after the crappie again.

Hey Jerry it was great fishing with you the other day man. I love pulling em out of 50-60 feet deep. They most all feel big and you know its a crappie when they stop wiggeling at 20 feet. LOL. I have some other pics ill try to put on here of you...runn8ing into sizing problems. Man it was a blast fishing with you and SkiTrip the last two days. And I hope to do it again soon. Thanks for going with me...and i know a couple of C.comers who now believe in going deep in the winter. LOL Tight Lines

Looks like the barometric pressure did not stop the deeper bite in the pits. Most everyone else where was not so lucky. Agrihawg did they blow up when pulled up ?

Nimrod the keeper fish were a little bug-eyed when they made it to the top!
