Well abh your original question was about jigs not plastics? I cant help you with a zillion plastics my friend. Keep it simple cuz i have to agree with nimrod again on its either dark or light colors we have to figure that out quickly.. I tip jigs with minnows - i tip minnercritters with minnows and i just plain tip a hook with a minnow. Now that being said. Heck with jig storage keep a sharp eye on the minnow bucket!

I use Plano clear plastic boxes and U sort by brand names, shapes, tubes, stingers, hair jigs, creature baits, bandits, curly tails...ect. I then have boxes put together for my favorite lakes/water IE... Conway/Dardanelle. In my Conway and Dardanelle boxes I also have a mish/mash of assorted stuff in the bag still in the original bags, when it come to be too much i distribute the baits out in the aforementioned category's...I often have some bait put in a side pouch of my bag I plan to fish with so i can get to them quickly. I store my minnows in a big Frabil bucket in front of me or between my double seating, The Frabil bucket sits high enough to put my nibbles on also. Most times I only carry a couple boxes with my favorite baits... and they work most places I fish, unless im going to a lake I know ill be pulling cranks or something then i may add other baits out of the bank so to speak or when i get low on some of my favorite stuff... I'll see if the bank has some and add back into my main box.

Before I got my new bag I did do some exchanging in and out. If I found something I wanted to try, I'd cull out something that hadn't particularly worked well. I added a few new ones when I went to Nimrod, since it's so much different than the lakes I'm used too.
Am I missing any important jigs/colors? :dono

WOW I ju st put me a couple in my pocket and my B&m 11ft. ultralight in the boat and go fishin with Nimblerod :Rofl:fish

Maybe some of these may help solve some of your problem you are trying to deal with, they make them in different sizes and they store flat, and would not take up much room on the deck of the boat.

THX lake Conway, I have tried those worm bags but boy being able to see what's in me drives me crazy to find what I am looking for. Goose you might catch more fish with more baits roflmao.

you catch more fish with less baits because you spend more time fishing that changing jigs all the time !!!!!! use more MINNERS !!!!!!!!

Right now I have four worm bags packed full of plastics and five or six 2-lb coffee cans stacked full of Bobby Garlands. A Bobby Garland package fits perfectly into a plastic 2-lb coffee can and they are sealed up pretty well. Then I have a couple of the medium size Plano double-sided storage boxes for heads and weights.....don't want to run out!!! I will say I am falling behind on organization and need to spend a whole day reorganizing everything. I used to put the jigs in the worm bags into ziplock baggies but now try to keep all plastics in their original containers.

I just got one of these to store my hand tied jigs in.
