Just got a call from work and I'm off tomorrow due to the bad weather , if I can get the doors open on my truck in the morning I'll be there , I love to fish during or just after a snow.

Be careful Greg if you go. Just rolled in from Little Rock and the roads are awful. I might Deer hunt tomarrow close to home. I love hunting in the snow.

Yep be careful to all who is out there fishing orhunting. When fishing in extreme cold weather remember to wear your life jacketIce cold water and air will take your life very quickly and you only haveminutes before hyperthermia and drowning takes over... a life jacket may justgive you time for rescuers to get to you and save your life even though you mayhave drowned or hypo has taken over.

Hypo almost took my life in 1997 I got very cold...Then sleepy...then fellasleep... in freezing temps and was lucky to be found before it was too late. Ihave been there and it almost took my life from me.

When hunting in Cold weather remember the number one thing you should have withyou to survive... is the ability to make fire and keep it dry. No matter where you hunt and even if you have a buddy hunting with you. You never know when you may need to keep yourself or a disabled buddy warm. Be Safe.

Backing down those steep icy ramps can get you and the inside of your truck wet. It is scary when you are giving it full steam ahead and you are still sliding backwards. Ever since a tragedy at the iron bridge ramp on Fouche river, I never allow passengers in the truck while I am backing down the ramp, wet or dry.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
