Got an early start yesterday morning and made it to the boat ramp at Sardis a little after 6:30. Sure was chilly to start the day but warmed up nicely around 10 or so in the morning. We had 19 at 11:45 and I though we were on out way to a double limit but the wind died down and so did the bite. We fished till a little after 4 and finished with 27 nice fish. All were over 12 with 20 or more over 13 and a nice 16 the largest. Caught all fish trolling gnats or sickle runners tipped with minnows and color did not seem to matter. Also took a nice afternoon sunset pic to end the day. Hope to make a trip within state soon to catch some of the Dardanelle slabs!!
