    Default A dream day

Been some time since I have posted a catch. I left the house Sunday about 9:00 to go search for some new fishing holes and decided to check the Arkansas river. So I wound up several miles down the river looking at the depthfinder off some rock banks and jettys when it just blacked out with fish. I figured it was white bass again. Flipped out a jig and "thump". Again thump. My son and his friend was several miles up the river not having any luck so I called him to come down. By the time they got there I had a limit of slabs and was tossing back more. My son and his friend got there and had 2 limits within an hour. Another boat came up with 2 folks and they both got a limit. Now this is all in an area no bigger than a 30 foot square. I Went back home and sit around, got bored and called xring and we run back down there and he got his limit in an hour or less and I caught and released 20 or 30 more. Xring and I went back this AM and got a double limit in less than an hour and left them still piled up. Most were caught on umbrella jigs Char and silver and a blue and white slabbandit using ultra lite gear.

Sundays catch(somebody sneeked in some strippers)

There was nothing there that we could see but a few rocks. We rarely hung up.
