Thread: Overcup...11-1-12

Caught a bunch today at Overcup. Mostly on the small side. Kept 10 crappie, 4 hybrids, & 2 bream. Threw back at least as many as I kept. Great day to be out on the water! Largest fish was 13 inches, most were 9 to 10. Caught em 7 ft deep in 8 to 10 fow. Around stumps on the south end of the lake. 2 fisted verticle jiggin just like I learned from Nimrod. I had my brand new 11 ft Ozark rod from Conway in my right hand; thanks Don, and a 20 year old south bend 8 1/2 ft fly rod in my left hand. Highlight of the day was a double hook up on the hybrids, landed both of em, that was fun!
