A few years ago when the pool was new, I took a week off in October to fish it. An old man in a 1 man bass buster tied up to me an told me he just wanted a buddy. We had a good time together that week. Never saw him before or since.

That sounds like a true fisherman! But when u have all these inconsiderate butts that are out for themselves and no body else, it can throw a damper on ur day. Especially when u have kids around. I'm sorry I had a couple of guys come up in there and I had my kids which any of u out there know kids will be kids noisy, but they told me if they couldn't be quite and just sit I needed to leave. Well ain't that some good sportsmanship invited in around our area.
I would probally have to leave to keep my boy from seeing me crawling in someones boat to discuss that... LOL!!
I would make the 6 o'clock news if some Ahole told me I had to leave for any reason. Call the next of kin!!!

There was a day when there was no pond and no subdivision and no popular spot there. I was one of the lucky ones that had access. I feel the pain more than most.
Wasn't there a cable across the Creek back in the day? I fished it back in the early eighties and swear I remember a cable.

Reminds me of that B.A.S.S. tourney up on Beaver a few years back when the water was high. Some feller fired a deer rifle across the water in front of a pro's boat and the dude took cover and trolled his hide outta there with quickness.
