I never felt the need for painted heads with or without eyes. If that is what you have confidence in then great. I save lots of money by using unpainted jigheads. My deceased fishing buddy made Bass Spinnerbaits and most he personally used were unpainted. He said all the colors were in his opinion was to sale baits.

You tell em Nimrod, a lot of that frill in fishing tackle is there just to get the fisherman to bite, that's why the fishing industries in a multi billion dollar industry. The industries feed off of the fact, fisherman are as easy to catch as fish are.

HAHA!!!! well lets all just go back to cain poles, flat bottoms, hooks, minners and a bobber. Weather you like painted or unpaited heads I hope you give Jeff a chance he is a good guy and pours a great Jig head at a good price. CA if you like those unpainted heads great...I have no doubt you catch fish in the piranna pond on em...but for me i'll take a painted head or one with eyes anyday of the week over a plain ole piece of round lead stuck up a tubes arse. LOL

JW...Jerry knows i catch fish on his products at will. Meatgetter products are great you should buy some sometime.

Cp i have and i am giving them a try. Never said they weren't good stuff. What i find is there are a lot of good stuff out there too. I have bought quit a bit from old meathead. I use a lot of jigs and plastics depending on the application but leave the minners at the bait shop for me.

Good On ya JW I know your a painted head man. when your fishing deep stained to muddy water... thats fine. but when your fishing clear shallow waters like conway right now... you better learn the importance of colors, bait size and details on your jigs and the use of scent as they are getting a real good look at what they are about to eat in clear shallow waters. You start fishing a big ole plain head or bulky bait shallow around these parts you will be one of the ones saying I cant catch fish on Conway. And confidence is alway a big plus. JMO
