Default Cooler full at Little Maumelle

Took a trip back out to Little Maumelle this morning. I knew where the fish were, it was just getting them to bite. Well, they decided to this morning. I was spider-riggin, just like my last post. 15' of water minnows and jigs. I finished up around 12:30. Total of 18 crappie, 12 of which were over 13".

    Here's the setup...

Here's me watching the traffic on I-430, boy I'm glad that I wasn't going to work also.....

    Beautiful summer morning....

    The haul....

    Default Killin me

You're killing us Chris. This weekday "got the river to myself" fishing has got to stop. Nice looking bunch of crappie. Are they just not biting up the Little Maumelle, or have they been biting so well at its mouth you've not had a chance to venture up?

    Thanks for nice pics.

CEB I want my poles back! I think I speak for the rest of the working stiffs when I say hope you get a hook in the hand. Man you take me out there in the swealtering heat and we only stick 7, then I let you use the masters rods and look what you do. The least you could have done was to wait till I got off work to make this post. I see 3 of the 5 poles you used were mine so I think I you owe me 3 fiftths of the fish.

Hey, Hey, Hey......You ought to be thanking me for showing those crappie poles some action. I thought that 2lber was going to break that pole in half when he took the minnow. I guess that I might as well hold on to them for a little while and then maybe you can catch a few with em'.:D

Yeah, I get to do that on the weekends. I think that beats putting up with all the jerks during the busy times. I saw 2 boats today, and they only passed me once. Y'all are going to have to take some time off of work and come out to catch some fish. I don't see them venturing off of this pattern for a while.
