Ill buy a minner or two from time to time but there has been times that I poured out a couple dozen b/c the crappie were turning their nose up at em. I also heard a minner sammich with a fiew squirts of lewzanna hot sauce aint too bad lol
I never use minners. I rarely catch lots of fish. The temptation is strong, very strong!!
You notice he said caught not kept? I bet I've caught over 10,000 on Nimrod Lake alone this year. :twocents The year ain't over and still no minners, but a pocket full of Spanky's and Umbrella Tubes.:biggrinQuote:

I ain't no expert lol but i show put CP in the right direction last summer spidering baaaawwwaaa. He just wont admit it. I can say i know the river though he he he. Been crappie fishing long time and used to single pole a lot and even got minners every trip. Just put what i was shown by Luvpt and blue thunder and applied it to lakes i have fished. I put my own spin on the way i rig and hooks i use and it works for me. I am not bashful about getting in cover just ask Nimrod. he couldn't believe i spidered in some of his piles lol. This summer i took on the challenge to learn the river here close to home. Done pretty good at it too. Nobody shown me the river just like some people who fish a body of water and learn it instead of waiting on the phone to ring with a report ! To each his own, don't be afraid of the non minner side of spidering lol, now spare the minners lmbo.

I single pole fish unless I am in a hot spot than I go to as many as 2-3 poles.------My boat is set up with rod holders but not spider rigs.-----Around here we fish the stumps in the oxbows and the river. I try to fish in the creeks when I can get in and out of them.
I am stockpiling brush so I can build a few condo's in the open water.
