Default Ever know your gonna goof up?

Wind settled down so I went out to drive a Cedar slab stakebed. Second slab I slipped and dropped my splitting maul I was using to drive em in out of the boat. Water only 4 feet or so but could not get it out.I guess tomarrow I'll try to go in and get it, hope it's warm.
I fished a little using my new 12' Ozark rod before leaving. I caught 11 with 7 keepers out of 2 stakebeds. That new rod is sweet, more sensitive than my old poles but slightly heavier. Really think I'm gonna like my new Ozark rod for jig fishing. i need to test Spanky on it now.

Ready to catch a bunch with it. Can't wait to feel that thump!

    Thanks Jerry!

Should have went for an 11 ft on nimrod....... Less weight, stiff backbone and light action tip. But the 12 will work..... Good luck an enjoy the rod.

WTG Nimrod I love ozark rods also and own a bunch of them right on down to a dock shooter. I use the 11 footer in my big boat and a 10 footer in my smaller craft in tight places like Conway. Hope you try the 11 footer also. One tough light sensitive rod no matter what you like. That Titanium tip is the best on the market hands down. Good job on the catch also.

I hate it when that happens. I was rinsing a brand new set of shark blades in the lake one time. I turned loose of them to slap a bug on my neck. They now rest on the bottom of lake Maumelle. I hope I don't get busted for that.

The only people that don't mess up are the ones that don't do anything. Congrats on the new 12 ft. Next time over I'll bring 11 ft for you to try. I swapped my 12's for 11's. Lot of difference at end of day on wrist, and arms. Love them 11's
