    Default Cane Line?

My grandparents live on Horseshoe Lake, an Oxbow just outside of Augusta. There is a line of cane sticking out of the water running almost from one end to the other. I assume that this has something to do with the main channel, but the depth doesnt change much in these areas and i havent found any brush piles near them. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

They really hold fish this time of year when water is low - especially on sunny days.

That's what i thought too, but they are sticking straight up. There isnt really anywhere to tie a yo-yo.

When there is little cover a single stick will hold fish.

I agree, but this lake is definitely not lacking in cover

+1 on hanging yo-yos. Seen 100's hanging in the lake down there.
