Caney Creek report

I have fished Caney last two days the bite is slow at best. The parking lot thrus. at am 4 cars fri. am 10 or more this weather may help. Water upstrem from bridge is low and sometimes pretty nasty looking I went clear to the mouth of caney today lake side I did not see many shad.I really enjoy fishing Caney and am hoping for a good year.One guy had a big tracker V bottom boat nice boat for Gerry Ferry a little big for Caney I thought but to each his own.

Better luck next time, the crowds are fixing to get outrageous, the next time you go you may have to take a number to fish a certain spot. There needs to be a number dispenser at the ramp so you will know when it is your turn to fish in a spot.

I was plannin on going to Caney this afternoon, but after reading your post i decided to go elsewhere. Im glad i did, got into them real good until the front hit.
