Biggest crappie I have personally caught (3.3 lbs) I caught on a rice slick on the end of a noodle. If that's not hard enough to believe, it happened at Frierson Lake.

I just noticed the fish cleaning table. Have you done snuck back to Lake Nimrod Weedhoppa?

I wish I had. Work has been interfering with the fishing.

If I'd caught it on a rod, it'd be on the wall for sure. I often wish I had mounted it, but we ate it. The boys got their picture in the paper with it, I'll have to figure out how to get it on the 'puter. But the point is, they will definitely eat a bream if they're big enough. Or the bream is small enough.

A hungry fish will eat about anything it can catch and fit in its mouth!

That's what I tell folks when they question my using big Southern Pro Umbrella tubes. Heck I caught some this week that were not much longer than 4'' on a big 2'' tube.
