    Default Barnett

Tryed to tight line jig the creek channel timber today.
I got out on the lake about 10am and trolling motored my way
to the creek channel and started jiging about 6ft with a red core
cht body with pepper flake, I had no luck I am trying to get used to my
12 jig pole it is really awkward, I let it get the best of me so I switched to my bass pole and used a fluke unweighted and caught a 10 incher
moved up the lake to the first bluff and changed to a white spinnerbait
green head and copper colorado blade and let it sink with a jerk
retreve caught a pound and a halver. That was all I was able to manage
until 1pm. All in All it was a very beutiful day out thier and a well diserved
    trip.

    Thight lines my friends

Two things I will never do again, one is jump from airplanes with a parachute the other is to fish Barnett!!!! That lake holds slabs but is crystal clear most of the time and 30 years of crappie fishing hasn't taught me how to catch crappie from that lake.
