This past week has been an awesome bite.....

I took this limit today while fishing some of my favorite holes. I also went a few days ago and caught a nice limit on pretty much the same pattern. Shallow water bite was on for me using midsouth black/chart.....or a glitter head and chart. It won't be much longer and the bigger ones will be biting just about at every lake you launch at. If your looking for fresh fillet's, get out to your favorite lake cause the fish are really starting to fall into their fall feeding frenzy period which is one of my favorite times of year.

Hope the wind settles down here for a few days. Glad you did good. Crazy here with bite awsome all during the heat and slower now? Sure was a pretty morning on Nimrod early but we built brushpiles. Looks like I should have fished from your post.

The " dead sea" is always good for a mess of 10-12" crappie, however the larger ones will give in to the Midsouth offering soon.... Lol.
