New structure in Gold creek!!

Did anybody get to fish the new cover that was installed in Gold creek today? It was a one day installation, I am pretty sure it has been removed by now. Every day I use interstate 40 to get to work, and on any given day you will most likely see a wreck between Conway and Little rock, but I have seen my first, imagine driving to work, having to cross Gold creek 5 days a week. Saying to yourself everyday man the creek looks good and I wish I was out there fishing today. Now imagine crossing that Same Creek going to work and looking out at the creek and lake and seeing a fully loaded tractor trailer truck with a 53 foot trailer sitting in that same creek, fully out in the lake, no dry ground under the truck or trailer, all that is sticking out of the water is the air wing on top of the cab of the truck. I would be willing to bet that the driver of that truck soiled his britches, on the flip side he was able to get out of the truck and to dry ground. I guess he got to clean his britches out on the swim back to the shore.

Dadgum, man!!! You said the other day you didn't know whether Gold Creek was going to as good this year because of the construction blocking the migration up the creek! But I didn't know they'd go this far! Glad to hear the driver made it out safely.

Just talked to my friend that lives in Greenbriar and he was told to avoid going home that way. Sure would like to see a pic of that. Will probably be in the Democrat paper tomorrow.

Well I am sure you fish that structure with some kind of crane or tow truck.
