    Default Little Maumelle River

I never read anyone posting about the LM River, so I imagine not many of you fish it. But I was wondering if anyone is familiar with it. I've been up it a few times and haven't managed to find the fish. There are TONS, I mean, TONS AND TONS of baitfish all through that thing. I've never seen so much of it in one place. It seems like it would be a decent producer but I'm fairly new to this crappie fishing thing so I don't know. Anybody have any insight?

I used to fish it for Bass years ago, sure looks good for Crappie. I have heard it holds some slabs.

Heard a guy say one time that the biggest limit he ever saw came out of there. Course that was years ago. Never fished it myself but always wanted to.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Fish upstream side and go past the bridge, start on right hand bank in the tops. I caught a 2.97 out of there a few years ago..... Try Midsouth black/chart on pink or red head.

It used to be beautiful Cypress tress in there. I had hear some were cut down. I fished up past the marina and even past the county farm rd I think it was called. If you run outboard proceed with caution as stumps line the old river channel.
