Cool weather feels great

I really want to hit the lake with lower temps. Stay'n close till Kena feels better. Try'n to clean up around the yard but it got hot in a hurry. Who is going fishing this week besides Crappie Pro? Someone needs to fill my place here, only saw 1 boat as we drove past the lake yesterday.

Now that's funny right there. Guess you have never fished the lake. I think we could have a dozen camps here and not even put a dent in the population. Might actually help the lake to thin em out a little.

gonna try to help my oldest boy out with his first bow kill this weekend. then if i can get about 4-5 jobs outta my hair - im fishing! May be a couple weeks but im on the short rows now. i feel the fall bite coming around the corner myself nimrod. very nice weather early then gets warm but better than what we had awhile back - show nuff.

Working till Sun Morning but watch out... Sun, Mon Tues and Weds, I will be fishing at least two of those days. It's like a Little Slice of Heaven on earth when you hit the water on a gentle cool morning at sunrise, and that first nice fish of the morning... sends a jolt up the line... through your jig pole... and into your hand. You feel the first throbbing whobbles of a big crappie on your line and it continues that way numerous times through out the day. YOU KNOW YOUR ALIVE!!!

Kena was feeling better so I slipped off today. Caught about 75 to cull out a descent limit. Still have that east wind.
